Dieser Shop begann mit meinem Lieblingsstück: einem tollen, abgetragenen Overall. Die Idee war einfach: Aus Spitzen und anderen schönen Stoffen, die ich von meiner Mutter und Großmutter geerbt hatte, wollte ich einen schönen, einzigartigen Overall kreieren.
Die Designs wurden so beliebt, dass Fremde anfingen, danach zu fragen! In diesem Moment wurde mir klar, dass ich diese einzigartigen Stücke mit der Welt teilen musste.
Über den Stil hinaus ist die Mission entscheidend: die Bekämpfung von Textilabfällen. Upcycling ist mein kleiner Beitrag, Kleidung und Stoffe von den 17 Millionen Tonnen Textilabfällen abzuzweigen, die jedes Jahr auf US-Deponien landen. Ich verbringe meine Tage damit, fröhlich in Secondhand-Läden nach hochwertiger Kleidung und tollen Vintage-Fundstücken zu stöbern – Tischdecken, Decken, Steppdecken, Stoffresten und vielem mehr. Wenn es ein ausgefallenes Muster und eine gute Struktur hat, nehme ich es mit nach Hause.
Jedes Stück ist ein Original, handgefertigt mit viel Liebe und Kreativität. Ich hoffe, ihr tragt eure wiedergewonnenen Stücke gerne! 🧵💖

This shop started with my favorite thing: a great pair of worn-in overalls. The idea was simple—to create a fun, unique pair by upcycling my mother's and grandmother's heirloom lace and other beautiful fabrics.
The designs became so popular that strangers started asking about them! That was the moment I realized I had to share these one-of-a-kind pieces with the world.
Beyond the style, the mission is crucial: to tackle textile waste. Upcycling is my small way of diverting clothes and fabrics from the 17 million tons of textile waste that go into U.S. landfills every year. I spend my days happily hunting through second-hand stores for quality clothing and amazing vintage finds—tablecloths, blankets, quilts, fabric remnents and much, much more —if it has a funky pattern and good bones, it's coming home with me.
