I am a Retired Army Medic. I was introduced to Wood Turning by my older brother Dan, as a hobby to spend some of my "Retired" time. My passion for woodworking goes way back to Cub Scouts, and as you may have already guessed, my brother Dan helped me make my 1st Pinewood Derby Car. I helped my Dad build and repair various stuff around the house. My Army career had me moving often, and something always gets broke in a move it seemed. I not only repair my furniture, I helped other Soldiers repair their furniture. I am dedicated to always do my best.

If you see a pen style you like, but, not to keen on the look of the blank, I have over 48 different type of wood to choose from and acrylics. My goal is to make you happy.

My older brother, Dan, got me started in woodworking when I was a Cub Scout, getting ready for the Pinewood Derby. I joined the Army after High School and made it a Career as a Medic. Every time I moved, it seemed the movers would break something. I ended up repairing it, as Enlisted Soldiers do not make a whole lot of money... Besides restoring my own furniture, I helped out other Soldiers restore theirs. That morphed into building some furniture pieces. When I retired, I dabbled in a few hobbies, but something was always missing. Enter my older brother, Dan. He called me up one day and told me about Pen Turning and Lathes... It was a new "Toy" I had to try out. Five years later, I am addicted to Pen Turning... To me, there is almost nothing more special than to see the smile on someone's face when you hand them the pen they have been wanting to own.
