Music & Nature Inspired - The Art of Frida Clements
I am an independent Seattle-based Graphic Designer and Illustrator specializing in screen-printed poster art. Previously the Senior Graphic Designer for Seattle Theatre Group, I've also designed for Sasquatch! Music Festival, KEXP, Flatstock, No Depression Festival, The Vera Project, and many Northwest musicians and small businesses. Other notable works include the
40th Anniversary Folklife Festival (2011), and the identity for Seattle's Neptune and Columbia City theatres.
It was an honor to be named “Best Show Poster Artist” in 2010 by Seattle Weekly, to have been featured multiple times as "Poster of the Week" in The Stranger, and included in the books 1000 Indie Posters by John Foster and Gig Posters Volume II by Clay Hayes.
I now create out of my home office in Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood, pulling inspiration directly from the bands I'm designing for and the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
I'm working hard to expand my line for 2013 to include wearable and usable art, such as T-shirts, linens for the home and more. Every purchase enables me to keep making beautiful work and to keep growing as an artist. Thank you so much for your support, this wouldn't be possible without you.
