Handmade

Classic 1920’s hand felted wool cloche hat. Royal Blue.
100% Peruvian Highland Wool.

NOTE ON AVAILABILITY: This is a custom order. When yarn arrives, this hat will be handled as a priority. I will ship as soon as possible.

Each hat is first hand crocheted and then felted and shaped on a professional size block by me in my upstate New York studio.

Peruvian Highland Wool is a high-quality wool that comes from Peruvian Highland sheep. Highland sheep are a crossbreed between the Merino and Corridale Sheep. Merino makes it soft and Corridale makes it durable. Typically, the sheep live in the Peruvian Highlands of the Andes Mountains.

Sizes:
Small fits to 21"
Medium - fits to 22"
Medium Plus - fits to 22 1/2"
Large fits to 23 1/4"
X-Large fits to 24"

Important Note on Size:
Please use a sewing tape measure to measure your head. My hats are hand crocheted, felted to size and dried on professional hat blocks. I have a hat block for each of the sizes I offer so the size is accurate. Felted hats do not stretch. If your head size differs, please reach out to me so I can adjust the hat if needed. See pic for tape placement.

Your felted hat will be shipped in a box and snuggled in tissue paper.
