My architectural necklace happened by chance. After creating the sterling silver earrings with cascading brass discs, I knew I wanted to create a companion necklace. However, the design just wasn't coming to me. I was sitting at my bench one afternoon recently and started playing with my scraps and rejects. In that clutter was a pair of the earrings that I had assembled incorrectly. I began to move them around, trying different positions, and suddenly - like magic - I had the necklace.

The sterling silver necklace/bid features graduated, cascading brass discs. The bib is approximately 3 1/2-inches wide and 1 1/2-inches deep. overall length is approximately 18 inches so it lays beautifully at the neckline. It dresses up or down - wear it with a t-shirt or with your best dress for a special occasion.
