An 18 carat tree bark textured ring in white gold. I make every item by hand and have scored this ring with lots of irregular lines creating small indents on the flat surface, these lines create interesting reflections and shadows as you move. The 18 carat white gold I use is not plated with any other metal so it will not lose its colour over time. The colour is a more natural tone than the white gold usually sold in shops with warm grey undertones because of the addition of palladium. For the first few weeks the texture might feel a little rough against the skin but it will gradually smooth out as you wear it. The ring pictured here is 2mm width and it is lightweight at 1.5mm thick with a rounded comfort fit interior. Other widths are available using the drop down menu selector above. These rings will be made with 100% recycled gold.

I appreciate that buying rings without trying them on can be tricky so I am happy to resize. Please get in touch to arrange so that I know you are sending it back. Bear in mind that it might not be possible to increase some rings more than one size so it is better to order a little bigger if you are unsure. I can decrease any number of sizes.

If you are not sure of your size the best method is getting measured at a jewellery shop or you can buy ring sizers in my shop to use at home. I have found that measuring yourself with string or paper doesn't produce great results so I wouldn't recommend this method.

Ring size scales vary by country so I will make rings to the system you were measured in.

I make a variety of textures and shapes for rings so I have written a summary below. I always start by making a plain ring band and finish them individually by hand so each is unique. If you use the shop search using these terms you will find each type. Please remember that the surface of any silver or gold ring will gradually wear smoother over time.

Distressed
I use natural stones to imprint organic patterns.

Hammered
A heavy hammer creates a range of flat angular facets with a slightly ridged texture and some irregular notches.

Tree Bark
Thin vertical lines... like a tree!

I can work in:
Sterling silver
9 carat white, rose and yellow gold
14 carat yellow gold
18 carat white, rose and yellow gold

The colours I use may vary from those you have seen before as each alloy can have different 'ingredients' and proportions. My 18 carat white gold is not plated so it has a lovely warm grey tone. The rose gold I use is actually more pink in the 9 carat version while the 18 carat is closer to gold with a blush tint.
