The Neon Moon Tarot Deck includes 78 Major and Minor Arcana cards, all fully illustrated and printed at the full 2.75x4.75" Tarot size on master quality linen card stock with black core and matte coating, intended for durability, vibrant image reproduction, and ease of handling/shuffling. Each deck is housed in a rigid two-piece box designed to provide protection and longevity. Also included is a 32 page guide book with instructions on usage, card themes, associated quotes, and a playable card game using your Neon Moon deck!

The Neon Moon Setting is my original take on a cyberpunk world, using the archetypes of the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot. As with any Tarot deck, every card has a piece of story behind it, and every combination of cards tells a different story. Characters in the cards represent the wealthy yet repressed and restrained set in contrast against the poor but diverse and free that fight for their existence and identity against the many systems aimed at controlling them.

Neon Moon tells the story of corporations without restraint benefiting the few immortals living above a plate that separates them from the poverty-stricken masses below. With the arrival of a strange neon full moon, Magic returns to the world and brings with it hope for the upending of the oppressive power structures of the city.

I’d bought this deck once before (3rd edition, I think?) and rebought it for the higher cardstock quality and rigid cardboard box. Very worth it to have this new one alongside my Neon Moon lenormand and Teknebrae tarot; very much enjoying the consistency in material! My one hangup with this new deck was that I thought I’d get a bound matte booklet like my other two decks, but I got another stapled booklet instead. Disappointing, but not the end of the world, and definitely not enough to draw back any of my praise for PixelOccult! Highly recommend once again!
