All our objects are vintage and are made by Sphinx, a renowned English company that closed its doors in the early 2000s and if they seem new to you it is because they come from a stock of unsold so never worn but nevertheless vintage.

Founded in 1948, Sphinx was a British manufacturer, famous for its high-quality costume jewelry. In addition to their own collections, often whimsical but always elegant, they have created jewelry for many talented artists and high-end stores, in Europe and the United States (Kenneth Jay Lane, Butler & Wilson, Nina Ricci, Caura, Fried Paris, Saks 5th Ave., Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Mark & Spencer...).

Most coins are signed with the name "SPHINX" in an oval cartridge, including an included number and sometimes a letter – or without the sphinx name, only a number or a letter and a number.
Some documents are not signed. They were produced for customers who sold them under their brand.
