This elegant, soft and warm neck warmer is ideal for protecting yourself from the cold and winter humidity. As warm as a scarf, it can be worn in three ways: either one turn for a boho style, to protect the neck and ample necklines; either two turns to keep the neck warm with a little room in the front, or very snug around the neck by slipping one brown into the other; more practical than a scarf, this neck warmer has the advantage of holding well in place on the neck and thus guaranteeing good protection against the cold, on the back of the neck as well as on the throat; and it stores easily in a bag, so you can take it everywhere with you and take it out as soon as it cools. Original, it is available in a wide choice of bright colors: adorned with one or two colors, one per turn in this case, and will thus brighten up your autumn and winter outfits.
It is made from 80% mohair and 20% silk yarn on a knitting machine, with a deliberately loose stockinette stitch, giving it a light and airy appearance, while ensuring comfort, warmth and softness in contact with the skin. remarkable skin (this mohair knitting technique means that it does not itch).
Mohair is a high-end natural fiber known for its strong insulating power, guaranteeing great warmth comfort. Produced by a special breed of goat, the Angora goat, it is extremely soft to wear, thanks in particular to careful selection work requiring the finest fibers by French breeders, and does not irritate even when worn next to the skin.
This fiber also has a strong affinity with pigments, and can thus be adorned with luminous colors.
The mohair that makes up this collar cover is produced and knitted by La Fée Mohair, breeder of a herd of 30 Angora goats for their mohair and designer of mohair clothing.
The farm and workshop are located in Burgundy (in Béard, 58160) and benefit from the “Mohair des fermes de France” label. The breeding aims to be respectful of the environment and animal welfare, and can be visited on request (more information www.lafeemohair.fr).

In terms of maintenance, mohair is no more fragile than other wools... here are some practical tips:
The goal is in any case to prevent your beautiful fabric from felting. To voluntarily felt a wool, it must be rubbed vigorously in hot water and with an aggressive soap; it is therefore what must be avoided above all else.
Washing is done at less than 30°C, with soap or special wool detergent, or mild shampoo; simply circulate the water (without rubbing) then rinse immediately without soaking. Do not use Marseille soap. To eliminate a stain, possibility of rubbing locally.
Machine washing is entirely possible in a special wool or delicate cycle (less than 30°C, NO spinning, special wool detergent)
To spin, lay the garment flat on a towel, then roll it up like a snail so that the towel absorbs the excess water (do not wring by twisting).
Drying is done flat, to prevent the stitches from stretching. Avoid proximity to a heat source (radiator, fireplace).
Finally, you should know that mohair, like all wools, and unlike synthetic materials, does not get dirty much, and therefore requires fewer washes than synthetic. It takes very little odors and dust.
