The foundation of this red handcrafted birdhouse is a durable vinyl tube with surface and edges sanded smooth and 4 coats of red paint applied. Adding a one-of-a-kind kind, upcycled rustic charm, each end features circular cut reclaimed historic Michigan barnwood. A sleek aluminum rod allows birds to perch at entry. Moisture relieving holes are at the bottom.

The house mounts to a wall or tree by a shou sugi ban wood burn treated back plate with included stainless-steel screw. Once the plate is mounted to the wall, the house slides over the back plate and is secured at each side with color-matched, painted screws. This allows for simple seasonal removal and cleaning as well.
