SkandWood was formed throughout an entire year. From 2014 to 2015 a man by the name of Gledis decided to share his crafts and passion with his family. While studying his degree in Italy, Gledis worked for a factory that made cooking utensils, and despite his studying and career paths- he fell in love with wood and the process of making beautiful and useful items from it.
Leaving Italy, Gledis had one goal in mind- to make the best wooden utensils in the market. And so he did.

After that year has past, being back home in Albania, Gledis’ family was now in the business of making and selling wooden utensils. The craft was taught to the letter, and the material used was only the most unique and high-quality olive wood (taken from the trees that were no longer producing olives).
