Announcement    The prints made by Aurore Chapuis in her
workshop located in Cachan, close to Paris, are realized
with care and passion, slowly, patiently to the rhythm of
the nature that is exposed.

Each resulting matrix is engraved with the tools
traditional engraver, more particularly, these are the
chisels and dry tips that guide it to a
representation of the line always finer up to its
almost disappearance or its essential appearance.

Nature and more specifically trees, the forest
have become his favorite subjects. These presences
natural and necessary that go to the rhythm of a time
slowed down captivate her and push her to mark the material of
traces to project powerful representations,
vital shelters.

avec soin et passion, lentement, patiemment au rythme de

Chaque matrice obtenue est gravée avec les outils
traditionnels du graveur, plus particulièrement, ce sont les
burins et pointes sèches qui la guident vers une
représentation de la ligne toujours plus fine jusqu’à sa
presque disparition ou son essentielle apparition.

La nature et plus spécifiquement les arbres, la forêt
sont devenus ses sujets de prédilection. Ces présences
naturelles et nécessaires qui vont au rythme d’un temps
ralenti la captivent et la poussent à marquer la matière de
traces pour en projeter des représentations puissantes, des
refuges vitaux.
