I live in Woodstock, GA with 2 kids, 2 dogs and my husband. A 3D printer changed everything. Both my husband and I enjoy creating with our 3D printer. He makes beautiful violins in his shop Aesthetic Instruments, and I make clouds.

Frequently asked questions
Where did you get the idea for these clouds?
I originally designed these clouds as a decoration for my daughter’s bedroom. I fell in love with the shape and just wanted to do more with it. Then Covid happened and I found myself with lots of time on my hands and lots of houseplants so I thought it would be cool if I could get my cloud to rain on my houseplants. It took a lot of tinkering to get it right, but I am very proud of what I have created.
I have heard plants like to be watered from the roots, will this hurt my plant’s leaves?
So, I use this product in many of my houseplants, but not all. Nothing works for every plant not even all plants like dirt. This was made as a decorative item with a fun interactive element when you use it to water plants, however I still think that it works as a fun decorative element even if your plant doesn’t like being watered from above. That said, my pothos thrive with this type of watering. I am currently using it in succulents, hoya, calethea, tradescantia, cactus, maranta, peperomia, philodendron and of course pothos – I have a lot of house plants.
Are there other benefits to these rain clouds?
In addition to just being a fun decorative element you can add to your plant:
The acrylic rods offer support for plants that need it
It can be easier to remember to rotate your plant when you have a decorative element included
The reservoir holds 4oz of water so you can gauge exactly how much you are watering each time
The slow drip gives the soil more time to absorb the water
