Updates

It’s been a few years now but it still strikes me as magic every single time - the way a simple piece of mud, when given some attention, turns into something which is both beautiful and useful!
When Marlena from @zestmylemon decides to cook, she cooks! Look how wonderful her roasted broccoli and pasta dish ‘sits’ on my plates. Makes you want to eat it right from the picture.
Happy Holidays!
Stacy from @allroadsleadtohealty is a certified holistic health coach and she decided to serve her wonderful grilled salmon and cauliflower gnocchi on my Porcelain plate. With such great and healthy food served so beautifully, there is no need to go out!

About

Organic form meets contemporary style

Welcome to Boutique Ceramics, an Etsy shop born out of my own boutique pottery studio in the village of Aniam, Israel.

With my work I strive to create the new, the different, the bold. Each piece I craft receives the same amount of love from the moment it begins as a handful of clay all the way to your table as a dinner plate, to your hands as a pottery mug or to your living room as a beautiful, white ceramic vase.

My work is a combination of handmade and wheel thrown pottery, designed for everyday functional use in the home. Each piece is first biscuit fired, glazed and then high fired in an electric kiln to almost 1300 degrees Celsius! (that's more than 2700 Fahrenheit!)

The glaze I use is lead-free and most of the time the base is unglazed. My ceramics can be hand washed, placed in the dishwasher, oven and microwave - just try not to expose the pottery directly above an open flame!

All my pottery is handmade with love, unique and signed by me. As with all handmade ceramics, there may be minor variations from the photographs. These are not flaws, but simply reflect the natural character of each piece.

My workshop, situated in a unique hand built wood cabin, is located in the heart of the Aniam Artist Village. If you have a chance, please stop by!

Thank you,

🌿 Diana
