Good morning,
My name is Agathe, I graduated from an art school a long time ago and have been a professional computer graphic designer for over 20 years.
A dozen years ago, I decided to live partially in Belgium. From Brussels to the Westhoek to finally settle in the little Venice of the North, Bruges.
I discovered a country with incredible charm, despite its small size. Its rich history, its magnificent landscapes and the welcome of its inhabitants make it a good place to live.

Throughout the walks and discoveries of my new territory, I began to practice photography as an amateur. Also a lifelong comic book enthusiast, living in the capital of this major art has been a privilege (roughly matched by the brewing tradition, which for beer lovers like me, offers endless joy, in moderation; )

This year, a broken foot prevented me from doing my discovery hikes for 5 long months. Thanks to my photos, I was able to relive these moments and console myself for my immobility.
It was in this unique context that I had the idea of combining photography and comics in the form of a mixed technique combining digital and drawing. The goal is to create a unique object that allows you to relive your best memories in a new way, like the photo albums of our childhood, but in an artistic form.

Je m'appelle Agathe, diplômée d'une école d'art il y a... fort longtemps je suis infographiste depuis plus de 20 ans.

Passionnée de bande dessinée, d'architecture et d'histoire j'ai décidé de vivre partiellement en Belgique il y a une douzaine d'années.
De Bruxelles à Bruges en passant par le Westhoek j'ai découvert les richesses et l'histoire de ce pays merveilleux, sa culture, ses paysages et l'accueil exceptionnel de ses habitants. Au gré de mes balades, je me suis mise à pratiquer la photographie en amateure.

En 2023, une fracture du pied m'a immobilisée pendant 5 longs mois. Grâce à mes photos, j'ai pu voyager virtuellement.
C'est dans ce contexte inédit que j'ai eu l'idée d'associer la photo et la BD sous la forme d'une technique mixte mêlant numérique et dessin. Le but étant de créer un objet unique et personnalisé à la manière des albums photos de notre enfance mais sous une forme artistique et décorative.
