Driven by Love
Così tanto che potrei condividere ma cercherò di mantenerlo semplice. Sono guidato dall'amore per la mia famiglia per questo, non lavoro in nessun lavoro ma in ciò che amo.
Sono stato benedetto, ho avuto la rarissima opportunità di essere adottato dal Costa Rica, a nove anni. Ho imparato la lingua inglese in circa un anno e ho iniziato la scuola. Mia madre è la mia luce guida, mi ha instillato di lavorare sodo, trattare tutti in modo equo e avere compassione per tutti. È anche da lei che ho imparato ad esprimermi attraverso l'arte, era così talentuosa, poteva fare quasi tutti i media artistici, beh tranne la scultura in argilla, entrambi abbiamo risucchiato quando abbiamo preso lezioni.
Ho imparato a cucire guardandola cucire piccoli abiti carini, ma in realtà non era bello cucire quando ero un adolescente, quindi in realtà non ho iniziato a cucire molto fino a quando non ho avuto i miei figli. In quel periodo, mia madre mi ha fatto prendere un corso di Cad-Cam perché mi piacevano i computer - sì, ero un adulto e lei mi ha fatto, LOL. Ma quella lezione mi ha aperto così tante opportunità e in un modo davvero strano mi ha portato nel mondo della digitalizzazione del ricamo. Purtroppo ho perso mia madre a causa del cancro 20 anni fa, ma in tanti modi è sempre con me, mostrandomi la strada e fornendomi ancora opportunità. Sono così grato alla mia famiglia e a te, per aver sostenuto i proprietari di piccole imprese, che stanno lavorando, non per una grande azienda ma per tutti coloro che amano.
So much I could share but I'll try to keep it simple. I am driven by the love for my family because of this, I work not at any job but at what I love.
I have been blessed, I got the very rare opportunity to be adopted from Costa Rica, as a nine year old. I learned the English language in about a year and started school. My mother is my guiding light, she instilled in me to work hard, treat everyone fairly and have compassion for all. It is also from her that I learned to express myself through art, she was so talented, could do almost any art media, well except clay sculpting, we both sucked at that when we took classes.
I learned to sew from watching her sew me cute little outfits, but it really wasn't cool to sew when I was a teen, so I didn't actually start sewing a lot until I had my own kids. Around that time, my mom made me take a Cad-Cam class because I liked computers- yes I was an adult and she made me, LOL. But that class opened up so many opportunities for me and in a really weird way brought me into the embroidery digitizing world. I unfortunately lost my Mom to cancer 20 years ago but in so many ways she's always with me, showing me the way and still providing me with opportunities. I am so thankful to my family and you, for supporting small business owners, who are working, not for a big corporation but for all those they love.
