Not the sellers fault, at all, but other's should know that printing this item can get expensive. I am a genealogist, and I wanted to make them for my clients, as fan charts are an excellent way to display your family tree.

I'm an artist and art history lover, so when I got into researching my family's genealogy, I had to have something REALLY special for my own family tree. When I saw the gorgeous, medieval-style Black Family Tree tapestry in Harry Potter, I fell in love with antique-inspired family tees. At the time, I was teaching art classes in Harlem (NYC) and had my mural students create their own class family tree on a wall of the school, in that style. The students worked overtime to get their portraits just right and it was a hit!
I was ready to get my own tree! I spent days looking for a fabulous, antique-style image to download and print, then fill out in my own handwriting with the fancy ballpoint pen my father gave me. Not finding what I needed online (and having way too many ideas to choose just one), I started to create my own designs, collaging pieces of historic images into family tree format, and the House Elves Anonymous shop was born! I've also made some phenomenal spreadsheets for family history research along the way. One of them can fit 12 generations of lineage! This all started because I wanted to make something extravagant for my family, but as I fell in love with the process and the design of family trees, I decided to make these available to others. All of these are available in my shop, and I hope they will make your family tree climbing an absolute delight!
