Jewelry for the Old Soul
Je suis une vieille âme et j’ai un faible pour les « vieux trucs ». Je gravite autour de toutes les choses qui romancent le cœur : le RIRE, l’AMOUR, la FOI, la FAMILLE, L’AMITIÉ, la MUSIQUE et la POÉSIE DE LA VIE. J’aime aussi, j’aime, j’ADORE les bijoux. Il semblait naturel pour cette vieille âme de faire des pièces qui reflétaient ces passions.
Chaque étape du processus créatif est réalisée par moi : la gravure sur laiton, la soudure, le nouage à la main, le vieillissement et les applications de patine, etc. Je coupe, teins, brunis et conditionne chaque morceau de cuir avec lequel je travaille. Tous les éléments en argile sont formés par mes mains seules. J’apprécie chaque étape du processus créatif et je suis le plus heureux lorsque je fais des choses. Mon travail a été présenté dans « Belle Armoire Jewelry » et « Jewelry Affaire ».

I’m an Old Soul and have a weakness for “old stuff.” I gravitate towards all of the things that romance the heart: LAUGHTER, LOVE, FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDSHIP, MUSIC, and the POETRY OF LIFE. I also love, love, LOVE jewelry. It only seemed natural for this Old Soul to make pieces that reflected these passions.
Each step of the creative process is performed by me: the brass etching, soldering, hand-knotting, aging and patina applications, etc. I cut, dye, burnish, and condition every single piece of leather I work with. All of the clay elements are formed by my hands alone. I enjoy every single step of the creative process, and am at my most happiest when making things. My work has been featured in "Belle Armoire Jewelry" and "Jewelry Affaire."
I hope my creative offerings speak to you and you are able to find something that will bring you joy, celebration, and an appreciation for the handmade.
