Illustrations which were created in 1852, patterns created now days in Tel-Aviv and the french connection

At the beginning of 2014 there was the centennial of John Tenniel, the original illustrator of Alice in Wonderland. Me, an interior decorator and a mother of two, had read about it in a marginal piece of news in the web, and like Alice, who had run after the rabbit, dived into the world that Tenniel and Carroll created, and decided to play a little with the magic images Tenniel had created.

The images have become prints which have been printed on overalls for little ones in an airy and convenient pattern, and the outcome is babies wear that attract adults and little ones alike, just as Carroll's figures had done. The enthusiastic reactions encouraged me to go on, and the side play has become a full-time job.

The patterns have become more and more elaborated, and the cooperation with Olga Angelos, a French illustrator, has brought about a series of illustrations in the line of Tenniel's images, which have become prints for the boys wear.

No Biggie clothes – my children's brand that has established, do not go along the line of gender characterized clothes of most children's brands. The moderate colorfulness moves on the scale between graphite black and lilac purple, and the patterns are all "one piece", loose and convenient.

Hope you will enjoy my unique baby clothes and the story that they tell.

Yael Marcovich.
