About us:
We are Yuval and Ravit. proud parents of two sweet children living in a beautiful tiny village in Southern Israel surrounded by vineyards and ancient caves. By trade Yuval is an economist, and Ravit a Graphic designer – but today we own our handmade business – Tamaris Mattresses, inspired by our first born daughter.
We created our first mattress when she daughter was born. We wanted to add some flair to her stroller, and make it more comfortable. Looking around, we couldn't find the perfect stroller liner anywhere, so we decided to make one ourselves. Surprised by the the compliment we received on the street, as well as requests for the same mattress from other parents, we understood other parents had the same need for stylish and practical stroller mattresses, and that's how Tamaris was born.
Our business is truly a labour of love - Ravit is in charge of the fabrics and the design, and Yuval sews the mattress and is responsible for the manufacturing stages. As we grow in our business, our children grow too, inspiring us to design new products like nursing covers and baby scarves, and we hope that as they continue to grow and excite us, we will keep expanding our business finding more beautiful and practical solutions for parents all over the world.
