Goodnight stars, Goodnight trees, Goodnight noises everywhere. New design up in the shop!
I’ve been #papercutting for a living for the last 7 years. Each papercut that has left my studio is hand cut and every order is handled with care, patience, and guidance (when needed). Thank you for making it enjoyable pray
New ketubah in the shop! This one is based on a popular custom design skewed towards my more traditional Jewish clients.

Handmade Artworks from Wedding to Home

I discovered the bewildering world of wedding art when a friend asked me to make a ketubah for her wedding several years ago. I fell in love with the quiet craft of papercutting, steeped in tradition and ready for so much more. It's been lost: to machines, pigeonhole styles, and a system that's left you brides and grooms trying to make sense of what a ketubah is / is it right for you / which should you choose?

I am here to bring quiet and care back to the ketubah. I believe that this should be as an enjoyable and personal a step in your planning process as choosing your wedding cake! With a friendly and patient approach I am here to answer your questions and guide you through the process of creating a cherished keepsake of your wedding, whether traditional, secular, same sex, or interfaith, all are welcome!

All ketubot are designed & cut by hand in a young and elegant style to best feature your unique love story. My papercuts are romantic, original, highly-detailed and time-consuming tactile artworks inspired by nature, featuring forest scenes, floral arrangements and noble animals.

It would be my honor to make your cherished memories into art to proudly display in your home for generations to come!

Frequently asked questions
Shipping Options

I mail worldwide.

+ Papercuts are sent Express by Courier. It is a trackable to-door service which takes 4-6 business days.

+ Samples are sent Standard Airmail, which takes 1-3 weeks.

+ Orders can be upgraded to FedEx Priority, which is a trackable, to-door courier service that takes only 2-3 business days. To receive a quote on the upgrade, just contact me before purchase.

Please note delivery quotes do not account for any delays that can arise from Customs, weather, etc.

How will my papercut be packaged?

All papercut orders regardless of size are shipped flat.

I carefully wrap your handmade order in tissue paper before placing it between two of the studio's signature wood boards, making sure it is secured at the center away from the edges to avoid any and all damages.

Your order is then placed in a moisture-resistant bag. Finally, the bundle is wrapped tightly for its journey across the seas.

My order is delayed / arrived damaged, what can you do?

Unfortunately I do not control the post service, and I cannot assume responsibility for lost or damaged mail.

However, I do my best to guarantee the service you paid for is provided and your package gets to you. If damaged, I will work with you to file a claim for reimbursement from the courier.

When applicable, we'll negotiate a replacement order.

Custom and personalized orders

All items are bespoke and made to order. Your papercut will be personalized with your choice of text and colors.

If you're interested in changes to the existing designs in the shops - from adding a custom monogram to changing the color of the papercut layer - these requests can be accommodated for a fee. Feel free to contact me with your ideas!

If you're interested in a custom design unique to you, there is a listing dedicated to that, and you're also welcome to contact me here with any inquiries.

Can I get my order rushed?

Certainly! Rush orders are subject to my schedule, just contact me first to check. The rush fee starts at $75 and can reach $200, depending on the design and deadline.

I've decided to cancel my order. Can I get a refund?

Due to the bespoke nature of orders, they cannot be returned or exchanged once produced.

If you wish to cancel your order before the booked production date, only half of the listing's value along with the shipping fees will be refunded.

For orders cancelled after item is created but before shipment, only the shipping fees will be refunded.

Rush fees are non-refundable.

I love the look of the papercuts! But they also look too delicate. Can they be handled?

The papercuts are delicate in nature, but can be handled more than you think.

Like any other paper art, as long as they are handled with clean hands and not placed outside in windy & rainy weather, they'll survive for display in your home!

What pen do I use to sign my ketubah?

The ketubot are printed and cut from artist-quality artist paper, so they suit all inks. Every ketubah comes with a mini test card for you to practice your signatures and test out pens!

Can I customize text?

Certainly! Each ketubah order includes the text of your choice personalized with your names, wedding date and location. My texts can be used as templates and edited as you wish, or you're welcome to provide your own.

With all ketubot, you get a preview file of your chosen text as it will be printed following payment and within 48 hours of my receiving your text and font choices. I print only after you approve.

PLEASE BE AWARE clients are fully responsible for finding and reporting any errors before approving the text for printing. WOODLAND PAPERCUTS is not responsible for replacing approved texts.

How can I display my ketubah at the wedding?

Using Woodland Papercuts signature packaging, of course!

The sturdy flat packaging makes it easy to transport your ketubah to the wedding venue, and bonus! the wood boards can be used for presentation at the signing ceremony!

For the chuppah and reception I advise that you get a simple ready-made frame in order to protect your heirloom ketubah from curious hands.

Couples have also left the ketubah on its Woodland Papercuts wood board and draped an acetate over it (which can be found in many art supply and crafts stores).
