It Never Stops.
Ik hou van het feit dat ik creatief kan zijn en nieuwe interpretaties kan bedenken die mensen aan het lachen maken. Het is een echte buzz. Maar het goede is dat inspiratie overal is - een praatje met een vriend, een korte wandeling door de winkelstraat, een actueel verhaal op het nieuws. Het houdt nooit op en daar ben ik dankbaar voor. Locatie is ook belangrijk. Als het gevreesde "blok" probeert zijn kop uit de grond te steken, lost een korte wandeling door Somerset's Levels het al snel op, en voor ik het weet zit ik weer achter mijn bureau te krabbelen met een grafisch tablet.
Na jarenlang grafisch ontwerp en animatie voor verschillende klanten te hebben geleverd, voelde het alleen maar goed om mijn vaardigheden toe te passen op mijn eigen - lang lijdende-niet-geliefde-put-on-een-donkere-plank - project en het resultaat op dit kleine deel van Etsy te verkopen.
Hoop dat je ze leuk vindt, hoop dat je ze koopt, hoop dat je snel terugkomt.
I love the fact that I can be creative and come up with new interpretations that will make people smile. It’s a real buzz. But the good thing is, inspiration is out there everywhere - a chat with a friend, a quick walk down the high street, a topical story on the news. It never stops and for this, I am grateful. Location is key too. If the dreaded "block" does attempt to poke its head out of the ground, a quick walk around Somerset's Levels soon sorts it out, and before I know it I'm back at my desk scribbling away with a graphic tablet.
Having supplied graphic design and animation for various clients for numerous years, it only felt right to apply my skill set to my own - long-suffering-un-loved-put-on-a-dark-shelf - project, and sell the outcome on this little part of Etsy.
