Thank you for browsing my shop. I started woodworking in my freshman year of high school and found a tremendous passion for it.
I genuinely believe this kept me out of trouble during my high school years. Not many books were being open at that time but much learning. Little did I know then how much of a spiritual impact woodworking would have throughout my life.
Since high school, more than 30 years ago, I have tinkered around doing wood projects for my friends and family. About ten years ago, I found the meditation and mindfulness path, which rejuvenated my interest in working with my hands in a very mindful and direct way.


I am currently practicing as a student of one of the largest Zen Monasteries’ in the United States, which led me to make Buddha stands, Altars, Seiza benches and incenses holders in a mindful way. I began seeing how working with my hands and being present in the moment could impact my spiritual journey and others' journey, too, by sharing the gift of woodworking projects with others.


My home altar is my sanctuary, a place to remind me and ground me to what is essential in my life. My goal in life is to make the mundane sacred, and that began with one small space in my home. I hope the items I make will help you find your own sacred space in life with whatever belief system you may hold. Yes, I do make a few other items for the pure joy of building them, and that is aesthetically pleasing to me, and I hope pleasing to others.
