This pattern is for instructions to weave a large gathering type basket with a wood base and pottery handles. The basket would be suitable for towels, toys, afghans, or a yarn basket. The space dyed reed used on the basket in the photo was inspired by my grandson's fascination with the "Minecraft" computer game.

You must be familiar with basic basket weaving techniques. The PDF pattern (in English) is available for download once payment has cleared.
