ceramic cat - I created this joyful painting on a wooden support that I recovered and recycled, for the wall decoration, I worked in mixed technique, a technique that I invented for my work and which combines painting joyful and the mosaic; I made the mosaic with elements of my ceramic manufacturing, I first shaped the white clay into a cat, sunflower and others, then I did a first firing, called "the biscuit" in my ceramic kiln, then I glazed them and then proceeded with the second firing, that of the glaze, at a very specific temperature, 980°, and when they cooled, I incorporated them into the mosaic with enamels, pearls, shards of mirrors, certain elements come from recycling, after drying the piece, I added touches of acrylic paint and decorations in relief paint, added elements such as glass beads, flowers and plastic characters. made in my workshop in Drôme Provençale, unique piece signed Odile Maffone handmade in France
