This scarf is an easy, quick and fun project for knitters of any level. It’s also perfect for beginning knitters look to learn how to cable knit. This scarf can be knit to be a traditional style scarf, with or without fringe, or it can be seamed together as an infinity scarf.

Select any type of yarn that falls within a weight 4 or 5 category (aran, heavy worsted or bulky). Use a needle that is one size beyond the recommended to get an airy, relaxed look. The yarn used in the pattern photo called for a size 10.5 needle and I used a size 11 needle to knit it. Note: the thicker the yarn, the wider the scarf.

Aran weight + size 11 (8.00mm) needles = approximately 80” long x 8” wide; 88” long with fringe.

Easy to folloe.for a beginner! My first finished project and didn't take much to me.or effort to do so either! I usually get bored and lose interest if it doesn't make me think.or payntoo much or the.opposite, and I loved the yarn I used because it's soft and not bulky and stiff.
