All our dried edible flowers are packed in biodegradable cups.

Delicate dried edible calendula flower petals are grown on our organic family farm in Slovenia & traditionally used for tea but we think they work great as any kind of garnishing or adding our natural edible flowers into your dishes, desserts, cakes, muffins, brownies, gin tonics, cocktails etc. Or you can use them in as a dried petal wedding confetti, bath bombs or in Craft.

♥♥ PETAL SIZE - Please note these are only petals and not whole flowers. When air dried, calendula petals lose a lot of moisture (over 95%) and are thus extremely brittle and crumble easily, leading to some smaller pieces & dust. Depending on season and location, these may be more or less pronounced. This is unavoidable. And please know that in the over 5 years we have been selling and shipping these and other fragile edible flowers, we have expanded quite a bit of effort looking into and incorporating various approaches for minimizing breakage.

STORAGE & CARE; HOW LONG WILL IT STAY FRAGRANT?

We ship to you in biodegradable paper cups. Stored correctly (away from heat, sunlight & moisture), your botanicals have a shelf life of 2-3 years. If not using your botanicals right away, you should prep it for storage. You can have it in those cups that were delivered to you, but store it in a dry place. If you think that it would be better to re-pack them, we recommend putting it in a glass. For better color persistence, you can keep them in a dark place.
