En Copywrong, vivimos al límite de lo permitido. A lo largo de los años, hemos recopilado más cartas de cese y desistimiento que pegatinas (jaja, lo sabemos), y, sinceramente, lo llevamos como un premio. Significa que estamos haciendo lo que siempre nos hemos propuesto: superar los límites, reinventar la cultura y cuestionar quién es realmente dueño de la creatividad.
Extendemos la línea entre la inspiración y la infracción; no por descuido, sino porque creemos que el arte debe ser compartido, remezclado y reimaginado. Tenemos un código: robar como un artista, apuntar a las grandes corporaciones y nunca a pequeños creadores como nosotros. Así que sí, algunos abogados nos han enviado cartas. Pero seguimos aquí. Seguimos creando. Seguimos con Copywrong.
NOTA AL PIE: Copywrong es la marca hermana de Malandra Supply y Propagandastic, pero es la rebelde de la familia. La que llega tarde, hace demasiado ruido y aun así, de alguna manera, se roba el protagonismo. At Copywrong, we live on the edge of what’s “allowed.” Over the years, we’ve collected more cease-and-desist letters than most people collect stickers –haha, we know–, and honestly, we wear that as a badge of honor. It means we’re doing what we’ve always set out to do: push limits, remix culture, and question who really gets to “own” creativity.
We stretch the line between inspiration and infringement; not out of carelessness, but because we believe art is meant to be shared, remixed, and reimagined. We’ve got a code: steal like an artist, aim at the big corporations, and never at small creators like us. So yeah, we’ve had lawyers send us letters. But we’re still here. Still making. Still Copywrong.
