Eu estava trabalhando no campo do design gráfico por vários anos e me vi ficando entediado como minha posição particular estava ficando menos criativo e queria tentar algo novo. Decidi que queria fazer algo que falasse comigo em um nível mais pessoal. Eu estava em busca de um sinal do que eu poderia fazer para cumprir meu lado criativo. Eu não percebi na época que seria literalmente um "sinal". Comecei a ver sinais que falavam comigo e decidi que queria criar alguns dos meus. Achei que fazer sinais era uma saída criativa muito divertida que é diferente do que eu vinha fazendo. Comecei a fazer sinais para mim e depois para amigos e familiares como presentes. Ele cresceu mais à medida que as pessoas as viam e pediam para que eu fizesse um para eles ou para um presente que gostariam de dar etc. Adoro criar novos sinais e o desafio das ordens personalizadas. Gosto de ouvir as histórias de como um sinal foi dado como um presente e a maravilhosa reação que o receptor teve quando foi aberto. NOSSO PROCESSO:
Cada sinal é pintado à mão. Usamos um cortador de vinil para criar um estêncil que nos permite obter bordas nítidas no tipo. O vinil é então removido deixando uma bela peça criada a partir de tinta e madeira. Em seguida, é aplicado um revestimento de cera macia que sela o sinal e dá-lhe um olhar acabado.

Everyone has a favorite quote or maybe its a favorite song lyric that speaks them them. I have several - I also LOVE TO CREATE! I had been working in the graphic design field for several years and found myself getting bored as my particular position was getting less creative and wanted to try something new. I decided I wanted to do something that spoke to me on a more personal level. I was on the search for a sign of what I could do to fulfill my creative side. I didn't realize at the time that it would literally be a "sign." I began seeing signs that spoke to me and decided I wanted to create some of my own. I found sign making to be a very fun creative outlet that is different from what I had been doing. I started out making signs for myself and then for friends and family as gifts. It grew into more as people would see them and ask to have me make one for them or for a gift they would like to give etc. I love creating new signs and the challenge of custom orders. I enjoy hearing the stories of how a sign has been given as a gift and the wonderful reaction the receiver had when it was opened. OUR PROCESS:
Each sign is hand painted. We use a vinyl cutter to create a stencil which allows us to get crisp edges on the type. The vinyl is then removed leaving a beautiful piece created out of paint and wood. A soft wax coating is then applied which seals the sign and gives it a finished look.
