GeekDesignWorks nació en mi casa en Utah Valley, fruto de mi frustración con la fabricación moderna. Noté una gran carencia en el mercado: no existían piezas de repuesto ni soluciones sencillas, y no estaba dispuesto a comprar conjuntos completos y costosos solo para arreglar una pequeña pieza, ni a conformarme con un simple soporte de montaje. Como tengo formación técnica y uso Blender para modelado 3D, decidí diseñar e imprimir en 3D estas soluciones que faltaban.
Lo que hago
Mi tienda se especializa en hardware impreso en 3D, altamente funcional y no personalizado, diseñado para resolver problemas cotidianos reales. Cada artículo se diseña, imprime y prueba internamente para garantizar que se ajuste perfectamente a las necesidades de quienes simplemente buscan algo que funcione.
GeekDesignWorks was born in my home in Utah Valley, out of a simple frustration with modern manufacturing. I noticed a major gap in the market where broken parts and simple fixes didn't exist, and I wasn't about to buy entire expensive assemblies just to fix one small part or sit wishing for a simple mounting bracket. Since I have a technical background and use Blender for 3D modeling, I decided to engineer and 3D print these missing solutions myself.
What I Make
My shop specializes in highly functional, non-custom 3D-printed hardware designed to solve real everyday problems. Every single item is designed, printed, and tested in-house to ensure it perfectly fits the needs of people who just want something that works.
