Announcement   Woooo! It’s been a crazy month, been in and out of town for work, and we went to Shenandoah valley fiber fest, demonstrated spinning wheels at the va state fair, and in and out of town. Life is slowing down and getting back to normal! So time to get making again. You’ll start to see more listings added. And that Stache box I was making is on hold til feb2019. I got to see Many of you in person at the festival and that I have to say that was by far my favorite part. Being able to share my love of fiber and the passion I have for fluffy pretty batts, with all of you. Is why I do what I do . Thankyou For all the wonderful feedback,

About

You think your life is crazy, join me down the rabbit hole, I assure you at the bottom is a pile of fluff to land on

Mustache Millie, comes from a memory. Emilie June, is the child the doctors said i'd never be able to have. So she's my Angel baby, every day with her is a day I shouldn't have. And makes every day a new memory. There's the great glitter disaster of 2012. The paint parade of 2014, and my favorite the great sequin dump of 2013, which included 5lbs of sequins onto Berber carpet. Imagine 5hours of picking sequins out of Berber carpet with tweezers. (I used to do craft classes with kids....who else in their right mind would have 5lbs of sequins) but then I've never said I'm right in the head. More like a little left.
The alcohol dye ink scare of 2015, which left my hardwood floors looking like a civil war massacre happened in the living room.
This child, who has a Czech spelling of her name as with one female in my family in each generation going back 200 years, Emilie, called Millie, brings laughter, tears, and destruction to our lives that we are very grateful to have. At least it's not boring in these parts.
And so it was with a memory, she was 2 years and plucked a ball out of a vending machine at the store that she got a stick on mustache. And how she loved that mustache. She said it was like daddys, and she's never taking it off. And mustache Millie began. Now she's 7, and she will still paint, marker, eyeliner that mustache back on her face.
She's also my biggest fan, where I see imperfections, you see im thinking its just not good enough, i cant start a store, i cant sell these things theyre just not perfect. No one will buy them, until I get it just right Im just going to keep them in the fiber box. she assures me "It's beautiful mommy." She tells me" how are you going to do great if you don't try." So if my 7 year old has that kind of courage, then I can put on my big girl panties and sally forth into untreaded waters. In this manner, to honor such support, faith, and definitely unwarranted hope in me, i shall name my store after her. And sooo.... here we go.
