My Western Heart truly comes from my heart, I grew up dreaming of being a cowgirl, and then I became one after many years of begging my dad for a pony. Who didn't do that as a kid?

Sometimes We Need a Change
My Western Heart has been a journey that started out several years ago when I needed a change from a very demanding career in health care, I am a Registered Nurse. The health care industry that was leaving me drained, tired and I had an overwhelming feeling that I had missed my true calling in life. Not that being a nurse isn't one of the greatest careers ever but I needed a change. Some major life changes also brought on a need for change: finally a wife and mama after years of being single, I didn't want to lose this wonderful time in my life to stress and unhappiness.

A Creative Heart Is A Happy Heart
Some how the birth of my child opened my heart to my more creative side, something that had been there all along but some how got lost along the way. I followed a dream, it has been a long, winding, sometimes bumpy road, but with tons of learning and the best part meeting new people which was one of the very things I loved about being a nurse. My heart now feels alive and happy. When when someone buys an item created in my tiny little studio, or at my kitchen table, it is a true honor and a real thrill. I love creating and I hope you will enjoy my journey.

• Love trail riding but was trained in dressage

• I'd sell my horse for coffee ( OK, not really, but the thought has crossed my mind)
