Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

Please contact me about any special requests you may have. Where possible, I may not be able to fulfill immediately, but I will do what I can to curate your special request.

Bulk orders may also be possible, given enough time to source the material through our ethically-minded suppliers.

Please contact me here for more details.

How do you source items and choose what to list?

I curate my shop the same way an archivist builds a collection: intentionally, selectively, and with an eye for pieces that photograph beautifully and carry their own story.

I focus on small, sculptural, and editorial objects that ship safely and present well in a clean, modern frame. For ephemera - both physical and digital - I choose items with strong typography, texture, or historical interest, and I restore digital pieces by hand rather than selling “bulk” scans.

Everything I list is something I’ve evaluated for condition, authenticity, and visual impact, and I describe each item as accurately and transparently as possible, so buyers know exactly what they’re receiving.

Condition and Authenticity of Vintage Items

I I inspect every vintage piece under strong light and note any wear, crazing, age marks, or manufacturing quirks.

I photograph flaws clearly and describe condition in straightforward, collector‑friendly language. For authenticity, I rely on maker’s marks, materials, construction, and pattern history.

I clean items gently when appropriate for photography, but never over‑restore or alter original surfaces - my goal is to accurately preserve each item's history in a clean, but as-found condition.

Ephemera: What Buyers Should Expect

Ephemera is handled archivally: I leave original toning, foxing, folds, and age marks intact unless noted.

Listings clearly state whether an item is an original piece or a modern reprint.

I do not aggressively flatten or press items; pieces are kept as‑found to preserve authenticity. When digital versions are offered, they are hand‑scanned and restored individually - not bulk or automated scans - so buyers know exactly what they’re receiving.

Digital Items: what customers need to know

Digital files are delivered as high‑resolution JPGs or PDFs, ready to print at home or through a local shop.

Listings note whether a file is a cleaned/restored version, an untouched original scan, or both. I can resize files on request when proportionally possible.

Commercial use is allowed for physical crafts but not for reselling digital files.

After purchase, your downloads appear in your Etsy account under Purchases & Reviews.

What is your policy on gemstones and metaphysical information?

Gemstones are described accurately, including whether they are natural, lab‑created, or treated.

Any metaphysical information is offered for cultural and historical interest only and is not a promise of results or a substitute for medical, legal, or financial advice. I do not claim healing properties. Buyers should choose stones based on personal preference and meaning.

How are Gemstones photographed, measured, and described?

Gemstones are photographed in natural or neutral light to show true color, surface details, and any inclusions.

Measurements are taken with a caliper for accuracy and listed in millimeters. I describe clarity, cut, and visible characteristics honestly, including natural marks or imperfections.

Colors may vary slightly by screen. Stones are never digitally altered; photos reflect the piece as it appears in hand under the lighting described above.

Custom and personalized orders

Some items in the store (but not all) have gift wrapping available and will be stated in the listing. Gift wrapping is available on those items for an additional $4.

All packages are wrapped in the same color which is a solid color of a matte craft paper, embellished with a satin ribbon. The paper color changes seasonally and will show in the listings what color is currently available.

Custom and personalized orders

Fragile items are packed with layered cushioning and rigid boxing to ensure safe delivery. I combine shipping whenever items can travel safely together, though some pieces must ship separately.

Orders usually ship within 3 business days, Monday through Friday.

I use recyclable or reused materials whenever possible. Ephemera is packaged flat with archival backing and a protective sleeve to keep it clean and stable in transit.

Do you accespt returns?

I accept returns for items that arrive damaged or are not as described, and I always stand behind the accuracy of my listings.

For all other situations, I generally do not accept returns, as many items are fragile, one‑of‑a‑kind, or vintage pieces that cannot be reshipped safely.

If you ever have a concern with an order, please contact me - I’m always willing to help resolve issues fairly.
