Youphoriclothing is the brainchild of Ariel Tucker-Jones. Ariel makes each item by hand from recycled materials. Each item is one of a kind, to help express the individuality of youphoricustomers! The meaning of 'being youphoric' is to feel happy and excited to be who you are. So much of our lives is spent being told that we should look and act like others, or that doing so makes us a better person. Even though Youphoriclothing is small, and Ariel is just one person, she is here to remind you that you are perfect just the way you are! If you love something, do it, wear it, embrace it! A lot of Youphoriclothing is made especially vibrant to be worn as a reminder to yourself that its okay to be different. Weird is fun!

Here at Youphoriclothing, we really do want to make you feel euphoric. That's why almost 100% of our fabrics are recycled! The textile waste in our landfills is overwhelming. With fast fashion as popular as ever, people would much rather toss out a shirt with a hole instead of get the shirt fixed. But we have embraced this, and are more than happy to use the fabric around the hole to create beautiful new pieces for you to enjoy! All of our fabrics are high quality, especially because they have stood the test of time! Donated items that aren't quite as pretty get used for things like our drawstrings, and in between fabric layers to thicken and stiffen items. Youphoric would like to think that something can be done with most every unwanted piece of clothing. Ariel is very passionate about showing people that we can reduce our fabric production, reuse old clothing, and recycle them into amazing new pieces that will last as long as you will have it! When you are no longer in need of our clothing (if that ever happens) we encourage you to look to recycling methods of your own, such as resale stores, thrift stores, or even donating it back to us to be re-recycled!
