The HVForge Door Bolt arrived timely and was very well packaged. The quality and the art of the forging is exceptional. The ease and alignment of the bolt through the tail keep and keep/catch brackets is perfect, smooth, and effortless. Additionally, the quality and thickness of the forged steel could stop a cement truck from trying to punch through my gate. Thank you for this most excellent craftsmanship that will keep my family safe. Well done sir!!!!

Super excited these arrived....they will be traveling to NC so I have not opened them as of yet. Will be sure to update review once I get them unpacked! Update 3/4/23 Made it to NC and just opened these fireplace tools. They are ABSOLUTELY beautiful! I love hand made forged items and I must say this set is one of the most beautiful I think I've seen. Each piece was wrapped with care as to not get damaged on their long trip from Cambodia to the US. It literally took me 30 minutes to unwrap each piece. Whomever wrapped these tools took such time to do so. I can't get over how beautiful they are! I'm SO happy I can't wait to get them up on the wall next to my fireplace! Thank you again!

Hand made look - Built to last...

I live in Cambodia which tends to be a place where one has to be able to take care of one's self. I quite accidentally got into blacksmithing out of a need to build and make my own metal household items. Blacksmithing quickly turned into a passion, and now I spend as much time as possible in the shop creating high quality iron products.

I originally came to Cambodia from Canada to start a non-profit school. I did that and still oversee that school. Now, selling my blacksmith products is a way for me to generate more income to continue my work here.

All my work is done in the traditional blacksmithing method: hammer, anvil, and fire. My preferred style of iron work is the strong, straight forward, heavy look that you might find in a medieval town. If your tastes are similar, I hope you find what you're looking for in my shop.
