The items arrived poorly packaged( the worst I've ever seen, 15 years purchasing on Etsy) . I refused the package but the seller requested that I accept it, assuring me of compensation, if the worst was revealed. The worst was revealed; chunks of wood and broken mirror, revealed a damaged item. Photos were sent to the supplier and he agreed to refund.. A day later, he told me to open a case with Etsy and when I sought clarity, for this surprise, he replied "no refund" . I'm an artist, delighted to support other artisans and I'm shocked and saddened to report this behaviour on Etsy. Etsy tells me, that I'm a "champion" supporter of their community( 147 purchase`) and despite this horrible experience, I'll stay with the community and hope that this offers a cautionary tale.
