After finishing school in 2010, I went to NYC to do internships with a few established designers in hopes of getting a full time job as a designer. After spending a few months in NYC and no job, I decided to come back home and give it a try on doing my own thing. With the encouragement of a dear friend, who happens to be an amazing photographer and the one who takes a lot of my pictures displayed in my shop, I decided to open my shop on Etsy. Having a shop on Etsy has given me the opportunity to do what I love to do on my own terms. I love being able to spread my wings and be as creative as I want to be. I get the greatest feeling when people purchase my pieces. My customers are very important to me. Sending them something that is beautiful, well done, and all done by me, gives me happiness and great sense of accomplishment. I’m loving every minute of it!!
I’m the master mind in my shop, yes!! The boss, however my husband is a very important member in my shop. He does all the shipping, and once his day job is done he takes care of anything else needed in order to run the shop smooth, allowing me to take care of my customers and the creative part of our shop.
The kids also play a big role. They have to take care of all the little things, such as making coffee, picking up around, taking pictures, and taking care of the many other little things around is a great help for our shop.
I love what I do. Making beautiful clothes is my passion. I hope I can continue learning, getting better, and growing my business for many years to come.
