“That’s the coolest thing I’ve ever seen!” These are the digital plans for the new Polaroid Ecto goggles seen in Ghostbusters: Afterlife. While they are not screen accurate, they do incorporate a Polaroid Snap or Kodak Step camera so they can take pictures like in the movie.
The goggles are larger than the Spirit of Halloween goggles. They measure roughly 7 1/4" wide x 5" tall x 7 1/2" deep (lens to straps) and weighs 14.5 oz without the camera (1 lb 6 oz with the camera). By purchasing these stl files and printing them at 100% on a 3D printer with a print bed of at least 230 mm x 150 mm x 140 mm, you can create your own copy as well. This item contains digital files to 3D print:
- goggles
- left lens
- right lens
- flash
- flash case
- flash outline
- knurled knob
- bottom knobs
UPDATE: You will also find the files to print the right and left lens as individual pieces. This will make painting them much easier. The files were done by Chuck Badger. Thanks for at the awesome addition!
In order to complete this build, you will also need the following items:
