I have been a crafter since I was a little girl hanging out with my Nana. Although I enjoy having a finished product, it is the process of learning and creating that brings me real satisfaction. This has led me to explore many different types of arts and crafts including quilting, crochet, making jewelry, stampsing, cardmaking, painting and mixed media. When I discovered junk journals I was so excited because here was an art/craft that could encorporate all the skills I'd developed as well as all the materials and supplies that I have accumulated over the years.
Another activity that I really enjoy is thrifting. Well, I have found so many beautiful books and supplies for junk journals that they are taking over my small apartment. So here I am, hoping to share some of my treausres with other creative people.
