Hi I'm,Ruby Rae and I live in the wonderful kingdom of Scotland. I was raised by wild haggis in the hills of Perthshire. When I was old enough to leave the fold I went to the big smoke (Dundee!)The city has been very good to me, keeping me in work and putting a roof over my sweet little head for many years.I work around art on a daily basis.There's a lot of very talented artists in & around Dundee. Never went to college, but did go to the University which is life.. .I'm very blessed to now have my own 'studio' which is in my spare room of my old house.I adore creating and love to experiment making jewellery and found object pictures,boxes & 3D pieces also. I am inspired by the artists Liz Mcgrath and Ray Caesar,and love the work of jeweller Julia Deville to name but a few.I love punk and rock musac. Self confessed tattoo junkie,pretty much have two full sleeves.Get very excited by art assemblage and I'm always looking for inspiration for my own work. Love the dark side of things,skulls,vampires,goth imagery and have a real love of weird and wonderful hairstyles and wigs. Always looking for new and exciting jewellery and media to use in my arty pursuits.I adore vintage clothing stores and charity shops too. Love old and interesting clothing and best of all shoes.I collect 'old lady' brooches and rings. Love to play with imagery. Feel it's important to play with style, and have fun. Think everyone should be able to dress and express themselves any which way that pleases. I also feel that life should have no age boundaries. It aint over when you reach the big 40, I am testament to that folks! I'm also a member of The Dundee Roller Girls (roller derby team) I am completely hooked on skating. The best thing I've done in years. I'm also the very proud owner of a 66 VW Beetle. I also fundraise for my roller derby team-The Dundee Roller Girls. I do also skate, but due to a broken leg earlier in 2011 I've not been on wheels. This makes me very sad. The Roller Derby community ROCKS!
