Mi amor por hacer joyas comenzó hace 30 años, haciendo piezas de vez en cuando solo para mí. En el año 2000, fundé una organización sin fines de lucro, trabajando con jóvenes en riesgo en Miami Beach, que ahora es más grande de lo que podría haber proyectado. A veces, el estrés se volvió abrumador y recurrí a mis piedras y joyas como un medio para liberar el estrés y todavía estoy haciendo mis bellezas. Cuando las damas y caballeros de la ciudad veían lo que llevaba puesto, comenzaron a llegar pedidos personalizados... y seguir llegando a este día en 2016!
En 2012, abrí mi tienda y sitio web de Etsy, pero eso fue antes de que Etsy y Square tuvieran opciones de ventas en persona. Desactivé la tienda cuando se volvió demasiado complicada mientras hacía exposiciones de arte con jurado en el área local. Para mi deleite, ¡he ganado varias categorías en varios espectáculos! El desgaste se convirtió en demasiado para estos viejos huesos y ahora solo hago un par de espectáculos al año. Mis piezas se venden en muchos hoteles y boutiques de alta gama en el sur de la Florida... y ahora de vuelta en Etsy! Me encantan las opciones y trato de hacer grupos de piezas que reflejen eso. Un ejemplo perfecto son los collares "Reversible" y "Convertible" con diferentes formas de llevar cada uno.

My love of making jewelry began 30 years ago, making pieces now and then just for myself. In 2000, I founded a non-profit, working with at risk youth in Miami Beach which is now bigger than I ever could have projected. At times, the stress became overwhelming and I turned to my stones and jewelry making as a means of stress release and I'm still making my beauties. When the ladies and gentlemen around town would see what I was wearing, custom orders started coming in...and keep coming to this day in 2016!
In 2012, I opened my Etsy shop and web-site but that was before Etsy and Square had in-person sales options. I deactivated the shop when it became too complicated while doing local area juried art shows. To my delight, I have actually won several categories in several shows! The wear and tear became just too much for these old bones and now I only do a couple of shows a year. My pieces are sold in many hotels and high end boutiques in South Florida...and now back on Etsy! I love options and try to make groups of pieces that reflect that. A perfect example is the "Reversible" and "Convertible" necklaces with different ways to wear each.
