Apulia Ambiance is a young idea that was born with the aim of creating a window through which to appreciate the best that Apulian creativity can offer today.
I am an industrial designer and for some time I have been collaborating with international companies to give a dress to complex objects of use resulting from the cold industrial seriality.
One of the reasons why I wanted to create this showcase was to turn a spotlight on a niche of artisans and artists who despite globalization continue to operate in their territory carrying on ancient traditions.
I refer to the world of terracotta and potters but even before clay and its artists, figures always present in all the civilizations of the past.
For centuries, in fact, terracotta has been used in multiple ways; to preserve food (amphorae), modeled and colored to adorn cups, vases, glasses or works of art, it has symbolized the uses, customs and social belonging of man in all his historical periods.
Behind these wonderful works are hidden, in silence, the hands of skilled craftsmen and artists who still continue to carry on their work in small family-run shops. It is in these places that the passion for my work was born and that now I want to repay by offering him, thanks to Etsy, an international showcase. My goal is therefore to bring together the best of the creative work of the Apulian artists and artisans that in recent years I have had the good fortune to meet and collaborate returning, to you who visit the store, all the mood of the Puglia region made of color, warmth, shape and tradition.

Apulia Ambiance è una giovane idea che nasce con lo scopo di creare una finestra attraverso la quale apprezzare il meglio che la creatività pugliese oggi possa offrire.
Sono un industrial designer e da tempo collaboro con aziende internazionali per dare un vestito a oggetti d'uso complessi frutto della fredda serialità industriale.
Uno dei motivi per cui ho voluto creare questa vetrina è stato per accendere un riflettore su una nicchia di artigiani e artisti che nonostante la globalizzazione continuano a operare nel proprio territorio portando avanti antiche tradizioni.
Faccio riferimento al mondo della terracotta e dei ceramisti ma prima ancora dell'argilla e dei sui artisti, figure sempre presenti in tutte le civiltà del passato.
Per secoli, infatti, la terracotta è stata utilizzata in molteplici modi; per conservare il cibo (le anfore), modellata e colorata per adornare coppe, vasi,bicchieri o opere d'arte, ha simboleggiato insomma gli usi, i costumi e l' appartenenza sociale dell'uomo in tutte le sue epoche storiche.
Dietro queste meravigliose opere si nascondono, in silenzio, le mani di abili artigiani e artisti che tutt'oggi continuano a portare avanti in piccole botteghe a conduzione familiare il loro lavoro. E' in questi luoghi che è nata la passione per il mio lavoro e che ora voglio ripagare offrendogli, grazie a Etsy, una vetrina internazionale. Il mio obiettivo dunque è quello di riunire il meglio dell'operato creativo degli artisti e degli artigiani pugliesi che in questi anni ho avuto la fortuna di incontrare e collaborare restituendo, a voi che visitate il negozio, tutto il mood della regione Puglia fatto di colore, calore, forma e tradizione.
