Arte Sghimbescia is the brand born to enclose all my artistic productions. In reality I am Cristiana Fumagalli, Brianza class '91, graduated from the (now was) I.S.A. of Monza. Since I was a child I liked to draw and invent stories; over time and with the appropriate support, I managed to take the path of self-production.

Year after year I have refined my techniques independently; I came into contact and comparison with a thousand different realities that have contributed to my growth. At the same time I work as a graphic designer and, sometimes, "mergiare" the two fields is very useful. I took my first steps on the market in 2011, collaborating with small publishing companies and progressing with comic fairs, always strictly in the Self Area.

Some define my style halfway between American and Japanese or even underground. In truth, I love to define it in only one way: sghimbescio!

Arte Sghimbescia è il brand nato per racchiudere tutte le mie produzioni artistiche. Nella realtà sono Cristiana Fumagalli, brianzola classe ’91, diplomata alla (ormai fu) I.S.A. di Monza. Fin da piccola mi piaceva disegnare e inventare storie; nel tempo e con il sostegno adeguato, sono riuscita ad imboccare la strada delle autoproduzioni.

Anno dopo anno ho affinato le mie tecniche in maniera indipendente; sono venuta a contatto e a confronto con mille realtà differenti che hanno contribuito alla mia crescita. Parallelamente lavoro come grafico e, talvolta, “mergiare” i due campi torna molto utile. Ho mosso i primi passi sul mercato nel 2011, collaborando con piccole realtà editoriali e progredendo con le fiere del fumetto, sempre rigorosamente nella Self Area.

Alcuni definiscono il mio stile a metà strada tra l’americano e il giapponese o addirittura underground. In verità amo definirlo in un unico modo: sghimbescio!
