Already in 1450, in Siena, the Staccioli families worked in its laboratories: were forged armor, coats of arms, were made flags and shields.
Among the artisans, some master craftsman turned his artistic talent in painting and sculpture.
Over the centuries, right up to today, the Staccioli remained artisans and painters, in Siena and other cities of Tuscany but not only.
And those who currently operate in other artistic fields, such movie theater and music, live mostly in the capital, Rome.
In 1984, opened its doors for the first time theworkshop “Black & White” headed by WalterStaccioli. Even as a child, his daughter Sonia, inextra school time, spent hours and hours to observe and learn from dad. In 2001, Sonia is a graduate of the Istituto d’arte Duccio di Buoninsegna in Siena.
So, come of age, he began working officially for the shop, until January 2008when she took the reins of the laboratory, and became its owner.
Meanwhile Giada, following in the footsteps of the family, she graduated from the Art Institute “Duccio di Buoninsegna” a Suena and in January 2015 joined the sister Sonia to advance this tradition.
