Every Design Tells a Story – This Is Ours
Bloomink Art began as a family project in Tonalá, Jalisco, a renowned center for Mexican pottery and traditional craftsmanship. It was in this vibrant artistic environment that I had my first encounters with art, surrounded by rich cultural heritage and creative expression.
A major influence in my journey has been my father, Alejandro Olmo, a talented watercolorist and ceramic artist, and the creative soul and visionary of our family. His passion for art inspired me to explore different techniques and materials, leading me to work in various artisan workshops across Mexico.
My path took me beyond my hometown, allowing me to collaborate on design projects with artisans from Chiapas, Oaxaca, and even Guatemala, where textile traditions run deep. As I refined my artistic vision, I developed my own concept of art and technology, blending creativity with modern innovation.
Now, with this new project, I’m thrilled to bring unique designs to life through woven blankets, crafted in collaboration with talented artisans and producers across the globe. This approach ensures efficient access to our products while reducing environmental impact, as each design is made on demand, just for you.
