Ho scelto questo nome del negozio - But First We Crochet - perché l'uncinetto è diventato una parte così importante della mia vita. È un hobby e un bel modo per trascorrere una serata accogliente a casa; mi ricorda momenti preziosi con mia nonna; focalizza e affina la mia creatività; ed è un modo per me di mostrare il mio amore ad amici e familiari. So che molto di questo suonerà familiare a così tanti nella comunità Etsy di fantastici creatori e acquirenti, quindi avviare un negozio su Etsy è sembrato il naturale passo successivo.

Dopo aver sperimentato diversi modelli e filati, volevo condividere il mio amore per l'uncinetto e per i disegni moderni. L'uncinetto è un mestiere così versatile e con solo un po 'di conoscenza chiunque può fare qualcosa di meraviglioso. Spero che i modelli sul mio negozio aiutino a mostrare anche a coloro che stanno appena iniziando il loro viaggio all'uncinetto che possono fare cose incredibili per se stessi e per coloro che amano.

I chose this shop name - But First We Crochet - because crochet has become such an important part of my life. It is a hobby and a lovely way to spend a cosy evening at home; it reminds me of precious moments with my grandmother; it focuses and hones my creativity; and it is a way for me to show my love to friends and family. I know a lot of this will sound familiar to so many in the Etsy community of amazing makers and buyers so starting a shop on Etsy felt like the natural next step.

After experimenting with different patterns and yarns, I wanted to share my love for crochet and making modern designs. Crochet is such a versatile craft and with just a bit of knowledge anyone can make something wonderful. I hope that the patterns on my shop help show even those that are just starting their journey in crochet that they can make some amazing things for themselves and those they love.
