Simona Candini, die an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste von Bologna studiert hat, lebt zwischen Italien und den USA und arbeitet als Vollzeitkünstlerin, hauptsächlich im Pop-Surreal-Genre.

Ihre Werke, die in Galerien auf der ganzen Welt gezeigt werden, verkörpern eine schöne, aber manchmal dunkle Welt, die von großäugigen Mädchen und unwahrscheinlichen Kreaturen bewohnt wird. Mit einer Flut von Emotionen, die auf jedes neue Kunstwerk übertragen werden, bringt Simona ihre Liebe zu den alten Märchen und Kindheitsvorstellungen auf einzigartige und poetische Weise zu uns. Sie ist eine traditionelle Künstlerin und verwendet gerne Öle, Aquarell, Acryl, Graphit und Bleistifte auf Papier, Leinwand und Holzbrettern. Simona malt und personalisiert die meisten Rahmen von Hand, um sie an ihre Kunstwerke anzupassen und sie als ihre Kunst einzigartig zu machen.

Graduated at the Academy Of Fine Arts University of Bologna, Simona Candini, living in between Italy and USA, is working as a full time artist primarly within the pop surreal genre.

Her works, showcased in galleries around the globe, embody a beautiful yet sometimes dark world inhabited by big eyed girls and improbable creatures. With a stirring of emotions translated onto each new work of art, Simona brings her love of the old fairytales and childhood imaginings to us in a unique and poetic way. She is a traditional artist and enjoys using oils, watercolor, acrylics, graphite and pencils on paper, canvas and wood boards. Simona hand paints and personalize most frames to match her artworks and to make them unique as her art.
