Comecei minha loja quando percebi que estava fazendo todos os produtos que usei em mim mesmo. Foi uma efifania perceber o quão simples poderia ser equilibrar saúde e beleza em ingredientes tão simples e inteiros. O uso de óleos essenciais de grau medicinal cuidou da maioria das propriedades antibacterianas, antivirais, antissépticas e antifúngicas que os produtos comerciais tendem a combater com produtos químicos e sobre o processamento de material vegetal. Uma vez que eu novo a parte limpa da higiene foi cuidada, eu poderia me concentrar no que torna cuidar de nossa beleza um ritual tão importante e divertido para todos nós. Percebendo que temos que encaixar esse ritual em nossas vidas que estão ocupadas, agitadas e em constante movimento, criei produtos que poderiam fazer mais de uma coisa, e emparelhar-se com o lixo criado a partir de nossos regimes de beleza.
Eu crio cada peça que é vendida nesta loja a partir da mão. Desde a mistura de todos os ingredientes, o desenho manual de todas as garrafas e embalagens, e a queima dos incêndios que criam cinzas resinas para fazer delineador.
Aqui está minha filosofia sobre beleza e o coração de todos os meus produtos:
A beleza é algo que moldamos e formamos à medida que as culturas sobem e caem. É relativo, visto apenas quando escolhemos vê-lo, e agora alimentando uma indústria que desconstrói a Terra a fim de obtê-la. Terra, a única coisa mais acordada como uma inspiração constante para a beleza e a coisa que leva o bruto enquanto tentamos recriá-la.
Então, no meio de criar uma linha de beleza para as almas deliciosas que encontro, estou constantemente zunindo por placas de trânsito me lembrando que agora estou ativamente criando, usando, reciclando e abusando de uma filosofia de beleza com a qual não me sinto confortável.
Eu tento o meu melhor para usar materiais que chegam e sobrevivem harmoniosamente com a terra. O tempo todo, constantemente me questionando na produção de uma linha de beleza tão canibal. Acho que a beleza deve ser redefinida e praticada todos os dias para quebrar a síndrome do perfeccionismo das mídias sociais. Clichê como é, o alcance da beleza fora de nós parece implacável e desperdiçador. Ele enfaixa a vara feia por momentos puros, então parece destacar o espinho arranhado que não queríamos olhar em primeiro lugar.
Quem os ninnybots nos ensinaram que tínhamos que possuir em nós mesmos um espinho arranhado de beleza?
Foi só no dia em que aceitei o que eu adorava em mim mesmo, que comecei a entender que tinha beleza para destacar. Naturalmente, um ritual se formou para praticar o que manteria essa luz brilhando.
Desenrolar minha beleza é uma longa e constante jornada através do movimento, dança, palhaçada, fazer rostos engraçados, liberdade para se transformar e a liberdade de se conectar com os outros. A eletricidade da saúde que me permitiu realizar todo esse movimento, finalmente me levou a um lugar onde eu queria acentuar o que eu sentia por dentro. A saúde sendo o fresnel que enraizou essa luz, estou encantado e empoderado para a avenida minha beleza através de práticas medicinais antigas, de onde a maioria dos nossos cuidados com a beleza realmente provém.
Como muitos de vocês sabem que sou um ávido usuário de óleo medicinal essencial, e este é sempre o coração dos meus produtos. Óleos essenciais são uma das formas mais antigas de medicina conhecidas pelos humanos. Cuidar do complexo, esquisito, inteligente, criativo que somos, é uma das coisas mais bonitas que posso imaginar.
Óleos gordurosos misturados com óleos essenciais foram espalhados pelo corpo de homens e mulheres para prevenir toda e qualquer doença e doenças. Os olhos estavam cercados por misturas escuras de minerais e óleos essenciais para proteger os olhos de doenças, sol e espíritos. I began my shop once I realized I was completely making all the products that I used on myself. It was such an ephiphany to realize how simple it could be to balance health and beauty in such simple and whole ingredients. The use of essential oils of a medicinal grade took care of most of the anti-bacterial, anti-viral, antiseptic, antifungal properties that commercial products tend to combat with chemicals and over processing of plant material. Once I new the clean part of hygiene was taken care of, I could concentrate on what makes taking care of our beauty such an important and fun ritual for us all. Realizing that we have to fit this ritual into our dailing lives that are busy, hectic, and constantly moving, I created products that could do more than one thing, and pair down on waste created from our beauty regimes.
I create each piece that is sold in this store from hand. From mixing of all ingredients, hand designing all bottles and packaging, and burning the fires that create resin filled ash in which to make eyeliner.
Here is my philosophy on beauty and the heart of all my products:
Beauty is something we've molded and formed as cultures rise and fall. It is relative, seen only when we choose to see it, and now fueling an industry that deconstructs the Earth in order to obtain it. Earth, the one thing most agreed upon as a constant inspiration for beauty and the thing that takes the brute while we try to recreate it.
So in the midst of creating a beauty line for the delicious souls that I encounter, I'm constantly whizzing by road signs reminding me that I'm now actively creating, using, recycling, and abusing a philosphy of beauty I'm not comfortable with.
I try my best to use materials that arrive and survive harmoniously with the earth. All the while, constantly questioning myself in producing such a CANNIBAL Beauty Line. I find that beauty must be redefined and practiced everyday in order to break the social media's perfectionism syndrome. Cliche as it is, the reach for beauty outside of ourselves seems relentless and wasteful. It bandages the ugly stick for sheer moments, then seems to highlight the scratchy thorn we didn't want to look at in the first place.

It wasn't until the day I accepted what I adored about myself, that I began to understand that I had beauty to highlight. Naturally a ritual formed in order to practice what would keep this light glowing.
Unfurling my beauty is a long and constant journey through movement, dancing, clowning, funny face making, freedom to morph, and the freedom to connect with others. The electricity of health that allowed me to accomplish all of this movement, finally brought me to a place where I wanted to accent what I felt inside. Health being the fresnel that rooted this light, I'm delighted and empowered to avenue my beauty through ancient medicinal practices, where most of our beauty care really stems from.
As many of you know I'm an avid medicinal essential oil user, and this is always the heart of my products. Essential oils are one of the oldest forms of medicine known to humans. Taking loving care of the complex, freaky, intelligent, creatives we are, is one of the most beautiful things I can imagine.
Fatty oils mixed with essential oils were slathered across the body of men and women to prevent any and all disease and ailments. The eyes were encircled with dark mixes of minerals and essential oils to protect the eyes from disease, sun, and spirits. Hair and skin were lathered in scents and oils to create a protective barrier between our sensitive bacterial systems and the environments we were creating into civilizations.
As I use the oils and products from doTERRA and CANNIBAL Beauty, I'm in constant practice of sustaining and preserving my vitality on this planet.
