Il mio viaggio nel mondo dei tessuti tradizionali indiani è iniziato con una semplice ricerca di morbidezza. Quando è nato mio figlio, ho iniziato a prestare molta attenzione ai tessuti a contatto con la sua pelle, cercando solo il cotone più naturale, delicato e traspirante.
Quella ricerca mi ha portato in giro per il mondo, fino all'antica arte della stampa a mano con blocchi in India. Mi sono innamorato non solo dei motivi intricati, ma anche del processo: i blocchi di legno intagliati, le tinture naturali e il tocco umano e ritmico dietro ogni metro di tessuto.
Ciò che è iniziato come la ricerca della qualità da parte di una madre si è evoluto in questa collezione. My journey into the world of traditional Indian textiles began with a simple search for softness. When my son was born, I became deeply conscious of the fabrics touching his skin—seeking out only the most natural, gentle, and breathable cotton.
That search led me across the globe to the ancient art of hand-block printing in India. I fell in love not just with the intricate patterns, but with the process: the carved wooden blocks, the natural dyes, and the rhythmic, human touch behind every yard of fabric.
