Quero compartilhar a história de como transformei este negócio no que ele é hoje. Como fã do Kansas City Chiefs, decidi fazer algumas jaquetas do time para mim. Comprei as jaquetas e encontrei alguns patches. Depois de passá-los a ferro, percebi que queria aprender a costurá-los para que ficassem com alta qualidade. Em 2025, entrei em contato com minha tia Nancy e perguntei se ela me ensinaria a costurar. Começamos com patches e depois comecei a adicionar outros tecidos. Em seguida, adicionei flanelas e comecei a cortar camisetas. Começamos em janeiro e, em abril, já tínhamos criado cerca de 100 peças! Aprendemos juntas. Tornou-se um segundo emprego em tempo integral para mim. Estávamos juntas quase 7 dias por semana. Aprendendo, costurando, criando e construindo um vínculo ainda mais forte do que antes. ❤️ Com o passar do tempo, ela começou a ficar doente. Eventualmente, ela foi diagnosticada com câncer de pâncreas. Tivemos que parar de costurar em abril. Empacotei tudo e guardei. Eu não tinha certeza se conseguiria fazer isso sozinha ou se sequer queria. Minha tia me incentivou a continuar. Eventualmente, consegui largar meu emprego de tempo integral e comecei a me dedicar completamente ao meu negócio. Infelizmente, minha tia faleceu em outubro daquele ano.
Costurar e criar se tornaram uma forma de lidar com o luto para mim. Sei que tenho um anjo da guarda me protegendo e me guiando. Lembre-se sempre: você pode ganhar mais dinheiro, mas NUNCA poderá recuperar o tempo perdido. Perdoe aqueles que você ama. Siga seus sonhos. Valorize seus entes queridos. Descanse em paz, tia Nancy. I want to share the story of how I made this business what it is today. As a KC Chiefs fan, I decided to make myself some Chiefs jackets. I bought the jackets then found some patches. After ironing them on, I realized I wanted to learn how to sew them so they would be high quality. In 2025, I reached out to my Aunt Nancy and asked if she would teach me how to sew. We started out with patches and then I started adding material. Next, I added flannels and started cutting up t-shirts. We started in January and by April we had created about 100 items! We learned together. It became a second full-time job for me. We were together nearly 7 days a week. Learning, sewing, creating and building a bond that was even closer than we had before. ❤️ As time went on, she started to become sick. Eventually, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We had to stop sewing in April. I packed up everything and put it away. I wasn’t sure if I could do this on my own or if I even wanted to. My aunt encouraged me to keep going. Eventually, I was able to quit my full-time job and I started focusing completely on my business. Sadly, my Aunt passed away In October of that year.
Sewing and creating have become a grief outlet for me. I know that I have an angel watching over me and guiding me. Always remember that you can make more money but you can NEVER get back time.
